The Moon Lit Tales 2025 Commemorative Book was created in celebration of London Blue's third annual event in St. Albans, WV. The event was founded to provide tweens, teens, and adults an engaging opportunity to participate in frightful fun while promoting community bonds, the art of live storytelling, and encouraging our youth in the arts.

This book features spooky stories presented at our initial two events, Jenny and Jack, and The Appalachian Spider Witch, as well as an experimental flash fiction, A Game with Ghouls. Additionally, it includes one heartfelt version of the supernatural tale, Lost at the Library, which guides readers through notable locations in St. Albans, the host city of our event. Also, an adaptation of The Little Odd Shop of Antiquities, set in the neighboring city of Nitro and incorporates elements of the town’s history into this distinctive fictional work.

London Blue strongly supports the involvement of teens and young adults in the fields of creative writing and art. This book begins with two chilling tales, The Lantern Man by Vinnie Deel and The Screecher by Elijha Goodlet, local teenage recipients of the 2024 Write With Blue student writing competition. Additionally, London Blue also celebrates the contributions of student editor Holly Peterson, who performed the preliminary editorial work on this volume and the cover image drawn by Vinnie Deel.

We hope these eerie stories provide enjoyment and encourage community support for the growth of emerging writers, storytellers, editors, and artists in their creative pursuits.
